What is Multi-Order Picking?
The standard digital pick-list selection supports up to 150 orders. A pick list opened from Order Batches can use the batch template’s limit, up to 250 orders.
This drastically reduces walking time in the warehouse.
How to Use the Pick List
1. Generate a pick list
Go to the Orders List.
Select multiple orders using the checkboxes on the left (or click "Select All" for the current page).
Click the "Pick List" button.
2. The Pick List Interface
EasyScan generates a consolidated list of items.
Example: If Order A needs 2 Red Shirts and Order B needs 1 Red Shirt, the Pick List will tell you to grab 3 Red Shirts.
3. Picking the Items
Walk through your warehouse with your scanner (or mobile device).
Scan items as you pull them from the shelves.
EasyScan tracks the total required quantity for the list.
Finish and export the pick
Review the required and scanned quantities, then select Complete pick. Picking records the pick; it does not by itself fulfil the orders in Shopify. Return to the order packing workflow to pack and fulfil as configured.
Use Export CSV to export the current digital pick list before completing it. The default export has column headings followed by line items; an optional setting adds the summary information.
4. Packing the items
Once you return to the packing station with your cart of items:
Open the order to start packing.
Scan an order, and EasyScan will tell you the items that are required.
Repeat until the cart is empty and all orders are fulfilled.
