This tutorial will show you how to enable the packability status within EasyScan.
This packability status is used to show you which orders you are currently able to fulfill. Let's look at the steps:
Step 1: Go to Settings
Navigate to the settings page in EasyScan within the orders tab.
Step 2: Access Order Index
Scroll down to the Order Index section.
Step 3: Enable Packability
Within Order Index, you'll see an option for Packability. This requires the Advanced Plan.
Enable Show Packability status.
Check large orders
Enable Check large orders if an order has more than 25 unique line items in a fulfilment order, or more than one fulfilment order at the selected location. The enhanced check reads up to 250 line items per fulfilment order and can take longer. Without it, orders that cannot be fully checked show Unverified.
Step 5: Save Settings
Save the settings. Now, once you go to the Orders page, you'll see a new column for stock that indicates the fulfillment status.
If an order is able to be fulfilled, it will say in stock. If there is insufficient stock, it will say short with a yellow badge.
Step 6: Filter Orders
You can also filter by packable orders. Add a filter for packable and choose to filter these orders.
Step 7: Troubleshoot Column Visibility
If you are not seeing this column after enabling it, ensure you select a location and are not on the All Locations tab. This is necessary because we check stock at a specific location before displaying this badge.
Read and refresh the result
Packability is available on Advanced and Pro on the desktop Orders list with a specific location selected. In stock means the checked items can be allocated stock; Short means there is a shortage; Unverified means the check is incomplete; N/A means the order is not eligible for the check.
Use Refresh stock after receiving stock or completing other orders. This is a snapshot, not a stock reservation. When stock is short, the check allocates shippable stock across the visible page in the displayed order; it does not reserve inventory across every page or other users’ sessions.
