Common Scenarios
"I scanned an item but it says 'Wrong Item'"
Check the Variant: Did you pick a Medium instead of a Large?
Check the Barcode: Does the barcode on the product match the one in Shopify?
"I don't have enough stock to fulfill the order"
If an item is missing or damaged:
Pack all available items.
Click "Complete fulfilment".
The order status in Shopify will change to "Partially Fulfilled". The remaining items will stay open to be fulfilled later when stock arrives.
"The scanner isn't inputting data"
Focus the Cursor: Ensure you have clicked inside the "Scan Barcode" text box on your screen.
Check Keyboard Mode: Most scanners act as a keyboard. Open a Notepad on your computer and scan a barcode. If numbers appear there but not in EasyScan, check your browser permissions.
