See who else is in an order, a read-only API for Pro, and reports you can slice by vendor
See who else has an order, purchase order or transfer open.
Ringed avatars now appear in the page header when a colleague is on the same record, with a tooltip naming them. It's an indicator, not a lock — nothing is blocked. Every plan sees that someone is there; Advanced and Pro with Users on see who. On by default, with an off switch in Settings → General → User presence. It also works inside Shopify Mobile.A read-only API for Pro merchants replacing Stocky.
Generate API keys in Settings → General → API access and pull purchase orders, transfer orders, suppliers, locations, stock adjustments, adjustment items and tax types over a documented, versioned endpoint. Covers Stocky's documented resource groups plus EasyScan transfers and locations. Keys are bound to one shop, revocable, and shown once on creation. In-app documentation and an OpenAPI schema download come with it.Filter reports by vendor and product type.
Dead stock, Inventory valuation, Sell-through rate, ABC analysis, Stockout, Overstocked, Zero sales, Clearance recommendations and Sales performance all take a vendor and a product type filter alongside the existing date and location filters. Applying a stocktake writes one Stocktake report per session into Logs → Inventory, reachable from a new Stocktake adjustments tile on the Reports hub. The report shows quantity before and after per variant with live price, cost and image, so a count leaves the same audit trail as an inventory update.Narrow the Missed list to products you actually counted.
Counting style-by-style used to mean opening Missed and finding every uncounted variant in the store. A new "Only products scanned in this stocktake" filter keeps only the leftover variants on products you've already counted — so the one Small you need to zero isn't buried. Off by default, and Zero all respects it.Re-scanned purchase order lines can jump to the top.
Scanning a product already on a draft PO used to increment it in place, which looks like nothing happened when the line is off-screen on a tablet. Settings → Inventory → Purchase orders → Adding products → Move scanned products to the top makes the line move up with its new quantity. On for new installs, off for existing shops so nothing changes underfoot.Percentage discounts on supplier shipping rules.
Supplier adjustments only offered a fixed-amount discount; you can now set Discount (%) as a supplier default, the same way the PO Manage costs modal already allowed. It flows into new purchase orders for that supplier automatically and applies against the subtotal.Two packing slip additions for pickup orders.
Highlighted order tag banners accept{{ first_name }}and{{ last_name }}placeholders, so a pickup slip can print "PICKUP ORDER – Smith" in the boxed banner at the top rather than hand-written. Separately, the order metafield section can now print at the top of the slip instead of only the footer. Both are opt-in.

Per-action role permissions, broader reorder recommendations, and proof attached to your counts
Role permissions now work action by action, not page by page.
A role can be given "can receive a transfer order" without "can create a transfer order" — each page's permission splits into individual actions like view, create, state change and receive. Stocktakes, Inventory alerts, Order batches and Auto-assign are also now assignable to roles at all, instead of being admin-only.Suggested orders and Demand forecast now recommend products without inventory requirements.
A product selling down toward zero used to be skipped entirely until you set a Min for it. It's now picked up from recent demand alone, with a filter that requires genuine repeat sales so a single quiet SKU at zero never triggers a purchase. Recently sold-out products stay eligible for a limited window after their last sale.Attach files to inventory counts and stock updates.
Signed count sheets, warehouse reports, supplier invoices or correction evidence can be attached directly to a Check or Update report, so the proof sits with the record. Same limits as purchase and transfer order attachments — 10 files, 20MB each — and files are stored in your own Shopify Files library.Purchase orders warn when a variant is already on another open PO.
Adding a line for a product that still has unreceived units on another Ordered or Partially Received PO for the same supplier and destination shows a warning icon, and hovering names the other POs as links you can open. In Settings → Labels → PrintNode printing you can now select Barcode page, direct barcode printing, packing slips (including scan to pack), pick lists and address labels independently, rather than one global switch sending every PDF to the same printer. The main Barcodes & SKUs page now uses PrintNode too. All selections start off, so existing PrintNode users need to pick their flows and save.Set a Min without being forced to set a Max.
Entering Min 2 no longer turns the row red because the Max still reads 0 — a blank or zero Max now counts as "no maximum" on the page, on save and in CSV import. Those rows fill to Min when generating purchase or transfer orders.Inventory requirements is usable on a tablet.

Suggested orders, Slack alerts, and purchase orders that match how suppliers actually ship
Suggested orders now tell you what to reorder and how to get it.
EasyScan spots where stock is about to run short and decides whether the gap is better closed by a transfer from another location or a purchase order from a supplier, then presents each suggestion in one inbox with the reasoning behind the route. Transfers only win when the surplus is meaningful and arrives sooner than a PO, and the origin location's own sales are protected so you don't drain a store that needs the stock itself.Low stock alerts can go to Slack.
Connect a Slack channel in Settings → General and instant low-stock alerts and digests land there alongside email. Connect, test, reconnect, and disconnect from the same card.Low stock rules can combine a collection, a location, and a restock source.
A rule can now say "low at the shop, and restockable from the warehouse" — pick which products by collection, which location the threshold is measured at, and only fire when a chosen source location actually holds enough to restock from. Suppressed alerts are visible so you can see why something didn't fire.Case quantity rounding on purchase orders.

Silent printing, smarter replenishment, and stocktake by product type
Print without the browser dialog using your own PrintNode account.
Add your PrintNode API key and run their desktop client, and EasyScan sends barcode labels, packing slips, pick lists and address labels straight to a physical printer. Rejected jobs can fall back to browser printing. Offline printers may queue accepted jobs, and delivery-unknown timeouts require checking PrintNode before retrying.
Choose which carrier your shipping labels use.
Rate selection is now live for Shopify Shipping labels: set a preferred carrier and service, or map each checkout shipping method to a carrier, so the label you buy at pack completion follows what the customer actually picked at checkout.New replenishment by supplier report.
Under Stock health, review stock status by supplier or drill into individual products, filter by days and location, export to CSV, and jump straight into Smart generate to raise a purchase order for that supplier.Sales velocity no longer counts days you were out of stock.

Transfer orders catch up, pick lists export, and smarter CSV imports
Timeline and attachments on transfer orders.
Transfer orders now get the same treatment purchase orders got last week — a full activity timeline showing who did what, and an attachments card for files stored in your own Shopify Files library.Export the live pick list as CSV.
Export a pick list as it stands before picking, as a flat one-row-per-line file ready to import into an external system such as an ERP. Previously the only CSV came from an already-completed pick, which is the wrong end of the workflow. Summary rows are off by default and can be switched on in settings.
CSV imports match on Variant ID and can combine duplicate rows.
The shared product/PO/transfer CSV import supports Variant ID matching and review-step combining of duplicate rows. Check Inventory and Update Inventory use a separate count importer; follow that importer’s available identifier and duplicate rules. Purchase order cost edits can also be applied across a product's full variant set in one go.
HS codes and customs data on purchase order and transfer exports.

Guided setup, supplier product assignment, and PO attachments
New guided setup replaces the onboarding carousel.
Pick the features you plan to use and answer a few questions per feature — barcodes, orders, inventory, bin locations and alerts, purchasing, documents and exports. Every answer configures your real settings, so you finish set up rather than just having read about it. You can reopen the wizard any time from the page title bar.Suppliers can now be assigned products directly.
A new product assignment card lets you link a supplier to a specific product list, or to condition rules (product title, type, vendor, tag, or SKU) matched on all or any. Supplier catalogues and auto-generated purchase orders both respect it, instead of relying on Shopify vendor names alone.Attach supplier confirmations and invoices to a purchase order.
Files live in your own Shopify Files library, so nothing leaves your store and you keep the documents if you ever uninstall. Attachments and the PO timeline now sit side by side, with avatars showing who did what.Moving average cost on receive (opt-in).
Turn it on and receiving a PO recalculates each item's cost per item as a weighted average of your existing stock and the newly received units. Because it writes back to Shopify's cost per item, Shopify's own margin and profit reports pick it up too. Off by default, on Advanced and Pro.Print outstanding items as a backorder sheet.

Barcode stocktakes allow review before applying inventory adjustments. Manual stocktakes sync each confirmed count as you go.

Exports include supplier tax, the supplier's address, and the same columns whether you export one purchase order or a batch of them, so the file is ready to send to a supplier or drop into accounting without re-typing anything.Filter the inventory valuation report by location.

Reportsis now a dedicated hub with nine inventory reports — stock health, sell-through, ageing stock, velocity and more — each with its own page, filters and CSV export. Data is refreshed from a daily catalogue sync, or on demand with a manual sync. The old inventory and barcode browsers now live underLogs.Low stock alerts.
Set stock thresholds per product, variant or location and get emailed when stock drops below them — either instantly or as a daily digest. Alerts link straight to a purchase order so you can reorder from the email, and rules re-arm once stock recovers so you don't get repeat noise.Supplier CSV import can now update existing suppliers.
Re-uploading a supplier CSV used to silently skip every supplier that already existed. You can now choose to fill in only blank fields or overwrite matched suppliers outright, so adding emails or payment terms to hundreds of existing suppliers is a single import.Purchase order line items in Shopify Flow.
All four purchase order triggers now carry full line-level detail — SKU, ordered quantity, received quantity and variant — so you can push purchase order data to an external system with Flow's Send HTTP request action.Step out of the buy-label flow without fulfilling.

Purchase order line notes, shipping label package presets, and a smarter Smart Generate
Add notes to individual purchase order lines.
You can now leave a note on any line item of a purchase order — "check for damage", "supplier substitute allowed" — not just one note for the whole order. Notes show inline on the line, appear read-only in receive mode so your receiver sees the instruction at the moment they accept stock, and every change is tracked in the order timeline. Notes carry through to the PO PDF and CSV export.Pick a package size when you buy a shipping label.
Buying a shipping label in EasyScan now lets you choose a saved package preset per order or enter a custom size at buy time, so the rate and label match what you're actually shipping. You can also opt to stay in EasyScan after buying instead of being bounced to the Shopify admin, keeping the pack-and-ship flow uninterrupted.Smart Generate handles large catalogs and explains itself.
Smart Generate can now build purchase orders across catalogs of more than 500 products by splitting into multiple drafts. Let EasyScan forecast demand and build your purchase orders for you.
Smart generate now sits right on the PO create page next to manual and CSV add — pick a supplier and destination and it merges suggested lines straight into your draft. Demand forecasting (Advanced+) drives the suggested quantities from your sales velocity, so restocking is a starting point you edit, not a blank page.
Auto assign barcodes and SKUs for new products.
Auto-assign fills empty barcode/SKU fields on future products and variants. Use manual assignment or Store audit to backfill existing products.
Buy and print Shopify Shipping labels right when you finish packing.

Update Inventory and Check Inventory now take a CSV upload, so counts you already have in a spreadsheet no longer need to be scanned or hand-picked one by one. Custom columns everywhere, richer receiving reports, and more control over purchase orders
Customize columns on your Transfer Orders and Orders lists.
The column customizer that already lives on Purchase Orders now works on the Transfer Orders and Orders index pages too. Drag to reorder, and show or hide the columns you don't need, so each list shows exactly the information you work with.Receiving logs now show full cost and quantity detail on both PDF and CSV.
The receiving-log report gains ordered quantity, accepted quantity, unit cost, received cost, price, total price, and the PO name — and any PO-level cost adjustments (discount, freight, shipping, duties) now print too. The CSV export is finally at parity with the PDF, so exported data is as complete as the printed version.Add a cancel date to purchase orders.
A new optional cancel date marks the point after which a supplier should not ship an order. It appears on the PO form, the PO PDF, the receiving report, and the reports panel.Choose barcode or SKU independently when updating variants.

Purchase orders go multi-currency, faster to start, and far more detailed on paper
See purchase order costs and totals in your supplier's currency.
Set a currency per supplier and EasyScan shows line costs and PO totals in that currency with a live conversion to your store currency, so you can match a supplier's quote or invoice without doing the maths by hand. Existing values are never silently re-converted — changing a supplier's currency only affects new purchase orders.Start a draft purchase order from just a supplier and destination.
You no longer have to add a product before a draft can be created. Pick the supplier and the destination location, save the draft, then add products whenever you're ready. (A PO still needs at least one product before you can mark it as ordered.)A much more detailed receiving report PDF.
The purchase order receiving log PDF now matches the on-screen detail: ordered quantity, received this session vs. received PO-to-date, rejected quantity, unit and received cost, and retail price — and it prints your store-facing PO name instead of an internal ID. Supplier Catalog Pricing, PO Ship Dates & Custom Name Exports
Set per-supplier cost and minimum order quantity on the supplier catalog.
Record what each supplier charges for a variant and their minimum order quantity directly in the catalog.
