Inventory alerts notify your team when stock meets a configured low-stock rule. Open Inventory alerts from the navigation or dashboard, turn alerts on, and set the daily digest time in your store’s timezone.
Create a rule
Select Create rule and choose Which products: all products or a collection.
Choose Where to watch stock: all locations, watched individually, or a specific location. A collection and a specific location can be used together.
Choose a threshold: fixed quantity, Inventory requirements minimum, or days of cover, depending on your plan.
Optionally add a restock condition to alert only when at least one selected source location has the required available stock. This is useful for replenishing stores from a warehouse.
Choose Instant or Daily digest delivery, then Send to: Email, Slack, or Email and Slack. Slack requires a connected workspace, Pro and rollout access.
Enter email recipients when Email is selected, review the rule, and save.

Basic does not include alerts. Slack is Pro-only and subject to rollout access, rather than an Advanced feature. See Slack setup.
Rules can trigger again after stock recovers. Downgrading pauses rules that exceed the new plan’s limits without deleting them. Slack-only rules need a working eligible Slack connection; they do not silently switch to email when disconnected.
