EasyScan users are available on Advanced and Pro. Advanced allows up to 6 active users; Pro allows unlimited users.
Enable users and permissions
In Settings → Users, enable EasyScan users and save. Enable the password/roles flow if you want EasyScan to enforce role permissions. Create users from the Users page, then assign the appropriate role. An EasyScan user does not need to be a Shopify staff account.
Create roles for the work each person needs—for example Orders for packers, or inventory and purchasing access for receivers. Access to Inventory requirements follows the Purchase orders permission. Shopify Shipping label buying has its own permission under Orders.
Location restrictions require Pro. Select the permitted locations explicitly. Leaving the location selection empty does not restrict access. For transfer orders, access can depend on whether the user is working at the origin or destination.
Activity and tags
Use Logs to inspect saved activity and Analytics → User analytics for per-user productivity on Pro. In Settings → Users → Automation, you can add the user’s name to order-completion tags, optionally with the time or time and date.
Deactivate or archive
Deactivate a user to stop access while keeping the option to reactivate later. Reactivation on Advanced is subject to the active-user limit. Archive only when the account will not be used again: archived users cannot be reactivated, while their historical activity remains available.
