Important: How EasyScan Transfers Work
Unlike Shopify's native transfer tool which creates a "Pending Inbound" shipment, EasyScan transfers are immediate.
The moment you click "Complete Transfer": Stock is deducted from Location A and added to Location B instantly.
Best Use Case: When you are physically moving goods yourself (e.g., taking stock from the back room to the shop floor).
Step-by-Step Transfer
Navigate to the Stock Transfer tab.
Set Origin & Destination:
From: Warehouse (Source)
To: Retail Store (Destination)
Scan Products:
Scan the items you are putting into the box/truck.
As you scan, you will see the quantity build up in the transfer list.
Verify & Save:
Check the total list.
Click Save Transfer.
Result: Inventory at the Warehouse decreases; Inventory at the Store increases.
You have the option to create a Report of the transfer that can be exported in either PDF or CSV. Please adjust this on the settings page.
Using a Scanner for Transfers
If you are loading a truck, connect your Bluetooth scanner. You can leave the laptop on the loading dock and scan items rapidly as they are loaded. If you scan an item that doesn't exist at the Origin location, EasyScan will alert you with an error sound.
