Quick transfer (previously Stock transfer) moves inventory immediately between two different Shopify locations. It is available on Standard and above and requires at least two locations. It does not move quantities between bin labels within one Shopify location.
Open Quick transfer and select Origin and Destination. They must be different locations.
Scan or manually select the products and enter the quantities to move.
Review the items and quantities, then save and confirm the transfer.
Check the result. Successfully transferred units are deducted at the origin and added at the destination. Resolve any failed items before continuing.
If a product is not stocked at a location, review the activation prompt. Negative-stock behaviour follows the relevant transfer setting. Save or export a transfer report if required by your workflow. Exported PDF reports are headed Quick Transfer Log. Older videos may use the previous Stock transfer name.
Use Transfer orders on Advanced or Pro when the stock needs a separate request, pack, transit and receive workflow. Use bin locations to manage shelf assignments.
