Stocky integration with EasyScan

Integrating EasyScan with Stocky allows you to streamline your "Goods In" process. Instead of guessing which labels to print, EasyScan pulls your approved Purchase Orders (POs) from Stocky so you can bulk-print barcodes for exactly what is arriving.

How to Print labels from Stocky Purchase Orders

Part 1: Connecting Stocky to EasyScan

Prerequisite: You must have the Stocky app installed on your Shopify store.

1. Get Your Stocky API Key EasyScan needs a special "key" to talk to Stocky.

  1. Open the Stocky app in your Shopify Admin.

  2. Click Preferences in the main menu.

  3. Click API Access.

  4. You will see a long string of random characters labeled "API Key". Copy this key.

    • Troubleshooting: If the field is empty, click "Generate New API Key".

2. Enable the Integration in EasyScan

  1. Open EasyScan.

  2. Go to Settings > General.

  3. Scroll down to the Integrations section.

  4. Find "Enable Stocky" and toggle it ON.

  5. Paste your API Key into the field that appears.

  6. Click Save Settings.


Part 2: Printing Labels for Incoming Stock

The most powerful feature of this integration is the ability to print labels specifically for a pending delivery.

  1. Navigate to the EasyScan Reports tab:

  2. Select Your PO:

    • You will see a list of your open Stocky POs.

    • Click on the PO number to open it.

  3. Generate Barcodes:

    • EasyScan automatically imports the list of items and quantities from that PO.

    • Click "Print labels".

  4. Verify & Print:

    • The app will generate a print job for exactly the quantity ordered (e.g., if you ordered 50 Red Shirts, it prepares 50 labels).

    • Select your Label Template and print.


Part 3: The Receiving Workflow (Best Practice)

Recommended workflow for a "perfect" receiving process:

  1. Print Ahead: Print the batch of labels for the PO before the truck arrives.

  2. Label: As boxes are unloaded, stick the labels on the products immediately.


FAQ

Q: My PO isn't showing up in EasyScan?

A: EasyScan typically syncs "Confirmed" or "Open" POs. Ensure you haven't marked it as "Cancelled" or "Draft" inside Stocky.

Q: Can I print labels for just part of a PO?

A: Yes. After you click "Print Labels" on the PO page, you can manually adjust the quantity for each row (e.g., change 50 to 25 if only half the shipment arrived).

Q: Does this work with Stocky Transfers?

A: Yes. The integration also imports Stocky Transfer Orders so you can relabel stock moving between your own warehouses.
