Creating a Product Brochure
EasyScan lets you generate professional, branded product brochures (scan sheets) directly in the app. These documents are perfect for wholesale catalogues, trade shows, or creating a hard-copy "price list" for your checkout counter that staff can scan.
This guide covers how to customise the look of your brochure and how to generate it using the Product Info page.
Step 1: Customise Your Brochure Settings
Before generating your first brochure, you can configure its layout
Navigate to Settings in the EasyScan dashboard.
Locate the inventory section and scroll to Product Brochure PDF and CSV export options.
Here you can configure the following:
Product Fields: Choose which details to display next to each item (e.g., Product Title, Price, SKU, Vendor).
Layout: Adjust the size of the product images and the layout of the list.
Save your settings.
Step 2: Select Products for the Brochure
Once your template is ready, head to the Product Info page to build your list.
Go to the Product Info page.
Search & Filter: Use the search bar or filters to find the specific products you want to include (e.g., filter by "Summer Collection" or a specific Vendor).
Select Items: Check the box next to each product you want in the brochure. To select all items in your current search results, use the master checkbox at the top of the list.
Step 3: Generate and Print
With your products selected, click the Print PDF Brochure button.
A preview window will appear showing your products formatted according to your Settings.
Click Print.
For Digital Use: Select "Save as PDF" in your printer dialog to email the catalog to clients.
For Physical Use: Select your standard A4/Letter printer.
Common Use Cases
Trade Shows: Print a physical catalog that buyers can scan to place orders instantly.
Counter Scan Sheet: Create a laminated sheet of bulky or non-barcoded items (like small accessories) for your POS counter.
Wholesale Price Lists: Send a PDF with images and prices to potential stockists.
